As a Warehouse & Customer Service Associate, you play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience at TREECO. You'll support both our warehouse operations and our customer service team--ensuring products are handled safely, customers are served promptly to reflect the high standards of our brand.

Role Breakdown
Warehouse Operations
Accurate receiving, shipping, and inventory handling to support the sales team while minimizing shrinkage and product damage.
Customer Service
Assist customers with placing orders, picking up material, handling incoming phone calls & answering questions, and providing product information.
As a front-facing team member, your professionalism, friendliness, and helpful attitude are often the lasting impression customers have of TREECO.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory
Receive incoming product accurately and in a timely manner.
Restock all returned items promptly and ensure proper tagging.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate team member.
Assist with sundry stocking and inventory projects as assigned.
Maintain valid forklift training certification.
Always follow safety guidelines and wear steel-toe footwear as well as safety vest.
Customer Service
Greet customers promptly, professionally, and with courtesy--whether in person or on the phone.
Provide accurate information on products, services, pricing, availability, and order status.
Assist customers in selecting products and pulling orders, including cutting mouldings.
Process sales and returns in our software system.
Handle backorders with professionalism & care.
Handle payments in accordance with TREECO policies.
Ensure orders ship correctly and on time for customers.
Build positive customer relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.
Maintain professional attire and grooming at all times.
Documentation
Ensure pricing and product information in the system is accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare all sales and order documents accurately and promptly.
Follow up on all backorders and special orders to ensure timely delivery.
Review customer credit status and secure proper approvals when needed.
Product Knowledge
Maintain thorough knowledge of TREECO's products, including new and existing items.
Stay informed about products in the market.
Housekeeping & Team Support
Work to get front counter, order desk, and warehouse tidy and organized.
Take initiative to remove garbage, restock returned items, and maintain shared spaces (washrooms, coffee/lunch areas).
Keep panel carts and showroom tools organized for customer accessibility.
Time management and daily workflow is a key to success in this role.
Partner with a teammate to cover duties during days off or vacation.
Review and follow procedures in the TREECO Resource Centre, including:
Phone-in Credit Cards
Customer Returns
GST/PST guidelines
Handling Intercompany Transfers
