## Job Overview

We are looking to expand our team at our prefab facility here in Lumby BC. Demand is high for our wall panels and we need to grow our team to meet the demand. We are looking to bring on motivated individuals to produce our in-house designed wall panels that we ship out to construction projects all over BC.

## Duties

- You will be required to show up on time, ready to work.

- This is a construction facility, so you will be required to wear basic PPE at all times. Additional PPE will be required for tasks that deem them necessary.

- You must be in decent physical condition to do this work. You need to be prepared to be working on your feet lifting heavy objects for 40 hours per week.

- Your duties may vary, however they will always revolve around using air and power tools. You must be confident in using basic framing tools or show intention towards becoming confident in them. Safety is paramount. Yours and for those around you. Being able to work safely and being aware of your environment is essential.

- You will be required to work according to our standard operating procedures (which we will train you how to do). Quality control is a large part of what we do, and working to a set procedure is a way we accomplish putting out a consistently high quality product. You must be able to follow instruction and stick to the set operations given to you.

## Experience

- Pay is based on experience in the industry and how much your skills contribute to the process. However no experience is required if you desire to learn and have the right mindset.

- Being unfamiliar with the tools used is not ideal. Having a basic understanding and some experience using all typical tool belt tools, as well as power tools and air nailers is preferable.

- Experience in framing specifically, manufacturing, or other traders is great. We have found that kitchen experience translates well to this kind of work as well.

Preferred Skills:

- Additionally, this is a growing company with growing needs and positions. Experience with computers (CAD, design, estimating) are all skills that paired with framing experience could lead to more lucrative positions.
