As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our team and contribute to the overall security posture of our organization.JOB SUMMARY:
The Vulnerability Management Specialist will play a critical role in supporting and running our enterprise-wide Vulnerability Management Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping build our application security program, conducting application scans, and providing guidance to application teams. It is desirable for the candidate to have experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module and Qualys.RESPONSIBILITIES:
\xc2\xb7 Support the development and execution of the enterprise-wide Vulnerability Management Program.
\xc2\xb7 Conduct vulnerability assessments and scans across the organization\'s applications, systems, and networks.
\xc2\xb7 Administer the vulnerability management toolset
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with application teams to provide guidance on remediation strategies and best practices.
\xc2\xb7 Monitor and analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize identified risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
\xc2\xb7 Help build and enhance the organization\'s application security program, including the management of scanning tools and processes.
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vulnerability remediation, report on the SLA\'s and provide guidance.
\xc2\xb7 Document and maintain accurate records of vulnerabilities, actions taken, and remediation progress.
\xc2\xb7 Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies in the field of cybersecurity.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge and experience in vulnerability management, preferably in an enterprise-wide setting.
\xc2\xb7 5+ years of IT experience with a diverse technology background.
\xc2\xb7 3+ years of experience specifically in vulnerability management.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure security models and controls.
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, techniques, and methodologies.
\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module and Qualys is a plus.
\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of application security principles, best practices, and scanning methodologies.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
\xc2\xb7 Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.Qualifications:
