We source, build and implement the right technology solution, and fit it into exactly the right place so that everything meets the high bar that Dropboxers expect.Role DescriptionAs a Software Asset Management Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing the management and deployment of software across Dropbox. You will drive the implementation of the Software Asset Management policy from gap analysis to developing execution plans. You will be responsible for implementing the approach to optimization and compliance strategies - either via implementing automation, data analysis, or partnering with other technology teams. You will develop important IT governance skills and knowledge of leading SAM tooling in the technology industry.Responsibilities

  • Partner with Security, ITS, Legal, and Engineering teams to enhance Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a SAM roadmap, integrating best practices for risk mitigation, cost optimization, and automation of manual tasks.
  • Conduct software license assessments, optimization reviews, and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Improve data integration, system capabilities, and user access lifecycle while maintaining training materials for stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate software asset and CMDB data, implementing accountability measures and compliance reporting.
  • Define and deploy CMDB processes, manage audits, and lead process improvements in ServiceNow.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, and overall service delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience working in Software Asset Management governance
  • Familiarity with IT SDLC and Agile processes is desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently to resolve issues and remove barriers to progress
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and familiarity with IT SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and/or Agile IT development
  • CMDB implementation and support experience
  • Experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow CMDB, Software Asset Management, and/or Change Management processes and workflows
  • Familiarity and experience with Software Asset Management tools (Intello, Productive, LeanIX, ServiceNow, etc.)
CompensationCanada Pay Range$129,200-$174,800 CADThe range listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE for this role, subject to change.Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox's total rewards package.
