Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Business Performance Management, the Sr. Business Performance Management Analyst is responsible for driving the alignment of goals throughout Fidelity Investments Canada ULC (FIC) by designing and implementing metric systems underpinned by industry best practice.
The successful candidate will work closely with business units across FIC to understand and help connect the strategic direction of the firm with that of the various levels in the corporate hierarchy, leading to the development and recommendation of insightful metrics.
They will also ideate and build information delivery systems/processes that support the established scorecard framework as well as design custom reports/tools that compliment the performance system. This will involve creating innovative dashboards and scorecards that can be used across the business to drive results.
What You Will Do:Guiding the Business to SuccessLeverage industry best practice techniques to connect operating models with appropriate Key Performance Indicators Craft practical recommendations for measuring the achievement of goals Meet with individuals across the organization to report on progress towards Key Performance Indicators through effective presentations and communication
Client ManagementRemain up-to-date with business area execution against business plans Maintain close relationship with key business contacts to ensure their metric, reporting and decision tool needs are being met and/or exceeded Be a catalyst for prudent change by providing metric result interpretation services
Data LiteracyUtilize resourcefulness and innovative techniques to curate data artifacts in a timely manner Create opportunities to stay current with changes to existing data or explore new data that can be used for augmenting the team's information delivery service Build data integration capabilities across various data formats, platforms, tools and programming languages Lead various data related initiatives such as collection processes and governance
Report Process EngineeringDesign simple to complex reporting and/or decision tools in a timely fashion Determine optimal delivery method and platform based on the audience Design end-to-end report and decision tool processes combining capabilities of multiple tools and platforms when necessary Deliver efficient solutions through automation techniques Provide professional looking end product across various visualization platforms

What We Are Looking For:5 years+ work experience in planning, designing, developing, and performing complex analytical reporting University Degree completed, preferably in computer science, information science, management information systems, business administration or finance) or relevant work experience Experience in successfully communicating and implementing business performance management concepts and techniques Completed CPA designation or MBA is an asset Experience in financial services industry an asset Advanced knowledge of business intelligence and visualization applications (i.e. Business Objects, Tableau, Oracle BI, PowerBI, etc.) is an asset

What You Bring:Perform and/or lead complex analyses across disparate data Seek various inputs and perspectives in conducting analysis Demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness and innovation in analytical work Engaging, 'story-teller' approach when delivering insights in a fashion that is tailored to the audience Proven ability to be clear and concise in explanations of complex topics when necessary (both verbally and in writing) Build enduring communication channels with business partners at all levels Solid ability to negotiate diplomatically Lead complex projects with multiple components and integrate efforts of others while delivering within stated timelines Well-versed in various analytical tools and programming languages working across both onpremise and cloud environments (i.e. MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, SQL, Python, Snowflake, AWS, etc.) Experience applying and adapting various modeling concepts to help solve practical business problems Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
