VP of Sales and Business Development You will be a key member of the senior leadership team, and be responsible for working collaboratively with our client to build sales success for them. You will be a player-coach, an active member of the sales team driving revenue for product lines as well as building and managing a high-performance sales team. In addition, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key strategic accounts and partnerships to expand sales into new territories and markets. Practically speaking you will: * Lead global sales growth for the eleven-x parking solution * Overall responsibility for sales strategy, planning, forecasting, execution and reporting * Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals * Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement * Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth * Create and manage annual sales budget * Define optimal sales force and channel structure * Hire and develop sales staff * Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top salespeople want to join * Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets * Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives * Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction * Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required * Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function * Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, and meet or exceed the forecast * Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions, and drive insights for further accelerating our growth * Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships * Manage key customer relationships and lead closure of strategic opportunities * Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs The Right Fit: This role is multifaceted, so they're looking for someone with high business acumen and a love for strategy. If you're currently located in the Kitchener/Waterloo region, the position will be remote to start, and later become a hybrid model of remote + in office. This position is also open to candidates who are located in other provinces, and interested in working remotely. You'll earn a competitive base salary, have a comprehensive benefits package, long term disability and vacation. What you'll bring * 10+ years' experience in progressively senior sales roles * Experience excelling at selling intangible solutions into the B2B market * Ability to analyze, establish and execute presales strategy * Experience managing, optimizing and identifying opportunities with partners, members, process enhancement and program growth * Experience with planning (strategic sales plan) and managing company's revenue forecast; including accurately forecasting future sales volumes * Demonstrated track record for building and developing teams, with strong ability to coach sales reps to higher performance * Successful career closing significant deals and partnerships * Previous experience selling into the U.S. municipal market * Previous experience building sales channels * Bachelor's degree in Business or related major required and/or equivalent experience * Previous experience working in the parking technology industry (asset) Your Application We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.
