POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Vice President of Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing financial strategies to support the company\'s overall objectives. The VP Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, driving efficient budgeting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial goals.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Strategic Financial Planning:

    • Develop, implement, and lead cross-functional budgeting processes, including quarterly, annual, and a 5-year long-term plan.

    • Establish financial goals in collaboration with company leaders and provide strategies for achieving them.

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:

    • Lead a comprehensive review of financial operations to ensure timely and accurate reporting and forecasting.

    • Report on budget-to-actual variances, identifying opportunities to close the gap.

    • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to support effective decision-making.

  • Cash Flow Management:

    • Monitor and manage cash flow on a weekly basis.

    • Determine return on investment (ROI) for company wide initiatives.

  • Financial Oversight:

    • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting across multiple business units, including payables, receivables, and payroll.

    • Establish financial statements and guidelines for each department within business units.

  • Operational Efficiency:

    • Identify inefficiencies in company systems and provide strategic recommendations for resource optimization.

    • Devise cost-saving strategies to enhance overall financial performance.

  • Team Management:

    • Hire, train, and oversee a team of accountants.

    • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting department.

  • Vendor and Partner Relationships:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors.

    • Oversee insurance coverage for the company.

  • Expense Tracking and Automation:

    • Create and implement methods and processes for tracking expenses.

    • Automate reporting systems for the accounting and finance departments.

  • Audit and Compliance:

    • Conduct audits of company expenditures to ensure compliance with financial policies.

    • Ensure data accuracy in all company reports.

  • Performance Monitoring:

    • Monitor all financial transactions and assess their impact on the company\'s financial health.

    • Provide regular reports and analytics for various business units.

  • Financial Advisory:

    • Advise the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on financial planning initiatives.

  • Revenue Goal Oversight:
    • Oversee the company\'s progress toward revenue goals and provide necessary advice for course correction.



PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred).

  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.



EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience.
