We operate two Early Learning Centers and provide childcare services in various schools and standalone locations, ensuring that children from 18 months to Grade 8 have access to quality care and educational opportunities.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Member to join our team at Park Play Community Programs Inc. This role is vital in guiding our mission to support children's development through innovative programs. The ideal candidate will contribute strategic insights and help shape the future of our organization.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and oversight for the organization's programs and initiatives. Participate in board meetings and contribute to discussions on policy, governance, and organizational growth. Support fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives to enhance program visibility. Assist in recruiting new board members and volunteers who align with our mission. Engage with community stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnerships. Monitor organizational performance and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience, preferably in a nonprofit or community-focused organization. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Experience in project management or administrative roles is an asset. Ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making processes. Passion for early childhood education and community development.

Pay: $40,991.43-$92,829.54 per year
