The Confederation Line Extension Project - one of the components of the City of Ottawa Stage 2 O-Train system \xe2\x80\x93 includes the design, construction, and financing of 27,5kilometres of light rail infrastructure. The scope of work also includes 4 kilometers of cut-and cover tunnels, 20 engineered structures, 16 stations and a light maintenance service facility.
Principal responsibility: Follow the on-site meetings and organize the coordination of the works with the subcontractors and the other entities of the project. Be the main presence on-site and be the first point of contact of the subcontractors (daily report, claims, etc.).
Tasks description: Coordinate the activities for our 5 traction power stations.
- Make sure the morning safety meeting is done;
- Review the organization, methods, and equipment of subcontractor for the execution of the project;
- Ensure all work is performed safely. Conducts basic safety inspections, identifies, and corrects safety hazards, and leads by example in safety practices by implementing the project safety plan;
- Assists in monitoring the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections;
- Check and verify the subcontractors daily report;
- Review, interpret and update construction schedule. Ensure accurate progress of the project construction schedule and supports updates to planned dates and sequencing;
- Participate in the weekly meeting with the subcontractors;
- Eventually, may have to monitor the signalization equipment installation.

Education and Experience:
- Fluent in English;
- Organized, and rigorous;
- Strong interest for the construction systems;
- Be able to communicate efficiently.
