We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your ability to multitask and communicate effectively will ensure a welcoming environment for both clients and their furry companions.
Duties
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist veterinarians and technicians with laboratory tasks as needed, leveraging your laboratory experience.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Handle client concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
Laboratory experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist in clinical tasks.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
