We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your ability to multitask and communicate effectively will be essential in creating a welcoming environment.
Duties
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Process patient records, including updating medical histories and entering data into the clinic management system.
Collect payments and handle billing inquiries with accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
Provide clients with health updates on animals that are hospitalized
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in veterinary technology or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm attitude.
A passion for animal care and welfare is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
