Job Description

We are a well-established auto body repair facility seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Collision Appraiser to join our winning team. Job Duties:



Collision Damage Analysis:

Conduct thorough inspections to assess the extent of collision damages on vehicles. Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to accurately estimate repair costs. Provide detailed reports on the scope of damages and recommended repair procedures.

Parts Coordination:

Handle parts orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of required components. Collaborate with the repair team to ensure all necessary parts are available for the repair process.

Structural Assessment:

Assess structural components of vehicles to determine the impact of damages on the overall integrity of the vehicle. Work closely with our skilled technicians to develop comprehensive repair plans.

Communication with Insurance:

Communicate effectively with insurance representatives, applying industry guidelines and ensuring accurate documentation. Provide clear and concise explanations of repair estimates to insurance adjusters.

Parts Knowledge:

Demonstrate a strong understanding of automotive parts, their functions, and their compatibility with various vehicle makes and models. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in automotive parts technology.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or automotive position. Proficient in using industry-standard estimating software such as Mitchell or Audatex. In-depth knowledge of collision repair processes and materials.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with our skilled team of technicians and other departments to ensure seamless workflow. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our repair processes.

Adaptability:

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle additional assignments or duties as required by management.
