Temporary Used Car Inventory Manager

(until return of incumbent) to take ownership of our pre-owned inventory and help us deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.


The Used Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dealership's used vehicle sales department. This includes coaching and mentoring the sales team, driving performance to achieve targets, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall profitability of the dealership. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven experience in automotive sales management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping both employees and customers succeed.

What You'll Do



Work with the sales team to drive traffic to the showroom Being a dynamic role in the showroom, creating energy and excitement for our staff and customers Appraise trade-ins, buy-ins and auction vehicles with accuracy and confidence Set competitive pricing based on live market data and trends Source high-demand used vehicles through auctions, wholesalers, and private sellers Oversee the reconditioning process -- from inspection to detailing -- ensuring fast and consistent turnaround Manage merchandising, photos, and online listings to showcase our vehicles at their best Monitor days-on-lot, adjust pricing, and make strategic decisions on aging units Coordinate with sales, service, parts, and management teams daily Keep paperwork, disclosures, and inspections compliant and organized Grow our used vehicle department from selling 15-20 units per month to 25-30 unit per month

What You Bring



Strong vehicle appraisal and market evaluation skills Solid understanding of reconditioning timelines and costs Ability to negotiate effectively with wholesalers, trade-in customers, and vendors Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking abilities A keen eye for detail and a drive to keep inventory sharp and front-line ready Experience with digital tools such as vAuto, Canadian Black Book, CarFax, and dealership DMS/CRM systems A results-focused mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
