Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in teaching younger students and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating students in various mathematical concepts, preparing them for academic success, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special education requirements.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals. Provide class reports timely after each session. Conduct assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary. Utilize classroom management techniques to create a productive and inclusive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues for learning progress and development area Provide tutoring and additional support to students who require extra assistance in class contents understanding Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate the needs of students requiring individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain an organized classroom environment, including the use of laboratory resources when applicable for hands-on learning experiences.

Qualifications

Proficient in French with excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Fluent in English Bachelor's degree Teaching experience is preferred; special education experience is a plus. Valid teaching certification or license is a plus. Strong cross-cultural communication skills to respect and incorporate the diverse cultural backgrounds of Canadian students into the teaching process. Proficiency in utilizing technology and educational software to enhance learning experiences. A passion for educating students
