Math Tutor

to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and professional Math tutor who has experience tutoring the

BC math curriculum; SSAT & SAT Math; Math competitions; AP math

. The role includes teaching

in-person small group classes

as well as

1-on-1 online lessons

.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective math lessons to students in Grades K-12 Teach both in-person group sessions and individual online classes Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents Prepare lesson plans and tailor instruction to individual learning needs Communicate effectively with students, parents, and our consulting team

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized

North American university

(Math, Education, Engineering, or related field preferred) Minimum

3 years of tutoring or teaching experience

in math Fluent in

English

(teaching language must be English) Solid understanding of the

BC math curriculum

(both elementary and secondary level, and AP Math is a plus) Provide instruction and test strategies for

SSAT and SAT Math

Guide students preparing for

math competitions

(e.g., Waterloo contests, AMC, Euclid, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Responsible, punctual, and committed to students' success Able to work in-person at our

Kerrisdale location

and deliver online lessons when needed Must have a valid

work permit

or

legal working status in Canada

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

Starting at CAD 30 per hour
