Miss Math Tutoring has been at its East York location for 11 years, and in that time, our tutors have helped hundreds of students increase their confidence in mathematics and other subjects.

We are looking for new tutors to join our team for the new school year. In-person tutoring sessions take place at our tutoring centre, located at 2017 Danforth Avenue in Toronto (a 2-minute walk from Woodbine subway station).

You must be able to teach any combination of the following:

Grade 9 & 10 Math

Grade 11 Functions

Grade 12 Advanced Functions

Grade 12 Calculus

Grade 12 Data Management

Rather than doing homework with students, we focus on providing them with quality teaching, to help them truly understand mathematics. A great candidate will possess the ability to organize and follow through on a well-planned out, easy-to-understand lesson that engages the student and prepares them to answer the most difficult of questions. Miss Math Tutoring is looking for a committed, hard-working, upbeat and enthusiastic tutor who can teach mathematics to high school math students.

A great candidate for this job must possess the following qualifications:
- Native fluency in English
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum
- Outgoing personality and ability to connect with the student - this is very important!

Can work from our tutoring centre

and is available for ideally 20+ hours/week

Interested candidates must be available during our hours of Monday - Thursday, 4pm-9pm, Saturday - Sunday 9am-5pm, and a commitment until June 30, 2026 is required.
