Robotics Tutor - Part-time (Richmond Hill / Toronto)

What We're Looking For

An enthusiastic, technically skilled educator who loves working with kids and teens, can lead robotics teams with confidence, and has hands-on experience with robotics and STEM teaching. This is a

part-time, in-person position

.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor student teams in robotics competitions, ensuring they understand the rules, strategies, and processes. Design and deliver a comprehensive training plan to build, program, and operate robots. Guide students through troubleshooting, testing, and refining their robots. Create a supportive, creative, and collaborative learning environment. Coordinate with competition organizers for registration and event preparation. Stay current on robotics technologies and competition trends to keep the team competitive. Develop and update course material as needed, maintaining clear documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience

mentoring or leading teams in robotics. Strong programming skills in

Python is an asset.

A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds to explore STEM fields. Robotics design and software development experience is an asset.
