What We're Looking For

TechBlazers, an educational center specializing in robotics, programming, and 3D design, is seeking a bilingual (French-English) Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching children and skilled in delivering lessons in both French and English, covering subjects such as language arts, mathematics, and more. This position requires availability on weekends, particularly Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

Teach French, English, and Mathematics to children, utilizing bilingual instruction methods. Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where students feel encouraged to learn and express themselves in both languages. Design and implement lesson plans that cater to students' language proficiency and academic levels. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents. Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment. Collaborate with the TechBlazers team to develop new educational content and materials as needed.

Qualifications

Fluent in both French and English, with strong proficiency in teaching both languages. Experience teaching children, particularly in a bilingual setting. Strong background in mathematics and experience teaching it at the elementary level. Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience. Availability to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Prior experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related fields is an asset. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Location: Richmond Hill, Toronto

This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly wage. The schedule for this role is focused on weekends, and the work will be conducted in person.
