Job Summary

We are seeking a warm, patient, and creative DrawingTeacher to lead fun and engaging art classes for young children. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in teaching younger students and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating students in various mathematical concepts, preparing them for academic success, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special education requirements.

Duties

Teach drawing-focused classes for individuals or small groups Plan and deliver age-appropriate drawing lessons (e.g., pencil sketching, coloring, cartooning, simple compositions) Introduce students to basic techniques such as line, shape, shading, and perspective Encourage creativity, confidence, and personal expression through art Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues for learning progress and development area Maintain a calm, tidy, and supportive class environment Communicate with parents about student engagement and progress Utilize classroom management techniques to create a productive and inclusive learning environment. Provide class reports timely after each session.

Qualifications

Experience working with young children in any educational or care setting Strong drawing skills (formal art degree not required, but artistic ability is essential) Clear, friendly communication and classroom presence Patient, encouraging, and adaptable with different student personalities Organized and reliable in preparing and delivering short, focused lessons Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not mandatory Proficient in Spanish with excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Fluent in English Valid teaching certification or license is a plus.
