We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the following opportunity in our Toronto office.
UNDERWRITING SUPPORT SPECIALIST, FRONTING - TORONTO
The Underwriting Support Specialist is a critical member of the Risk Solutions Team, providing operational and administrative support to a growing team.
As an integral member of the team, you will bring:

• A logical, process-oriented work style with a passion for excellence and detail orientation
• Exceptional working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities:

• Review documents
• Working with client's to resolve accounting discrepancies or issues
• Prepare documents, presentations and reports as required
• Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing communication
• Generate monthly reports, review for accuracy and distribute to internal and external clients
• Analyze various reports to support operations
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with brokers
• Assist underwriters to deliver exceptional service to our client brokers

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of College diploma or University degree, in Commerce, Business Administration or related field preferred
• 1-2 years business experience an asset
• Bilingual English/French an asset
• Experience in accounting and insurance is an asset
