As a member of the Underwriting Administration Specialist team, you are responsible for the end-to-end processing of new business applications. You will be required to process applications for guaranteed issue products and execute simplified underwriting decisions within your authority limits.

What will you do?

New business application review, eligibility check and scrubbing

Entering member information onto tracking and billing systems

Issuing member welcome packages including benefit schedules, certificates, medical exclusion amendment forms and premium notices

Handle coverage increases, adjustments, and changes for applications

What do you need to succeed?

Bilingualism (French, English) required- support tasks for an English-speaking team outside Quebec

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to build strong working relationships

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Excellent problem solving skills

Ability to work independently

Proficient in math

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
