We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Transportation Project Manager to complement and grow our skilled Transportation Roads and Highways Team in the Greater Toronto Area with offices in Markham and Burlington. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will assist in the pursuit of and be responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary project teams in the delivery of Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) preliminary and detail design assignments.

Core Responsibilities:

As an integral member of the Roads and Highway Team responsibilities will include:

Managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.

Preparing and managing project budgets, work plans and schedules.

Communicating and liaising with MTO.

Consulting with agencies, stakeholders, and the public.

Overseeing complex evaluations of planning and design alternatives.

Overseeing quality control of project deliverables.

Staff development and mentoring.

Supporting business development and proposal preparation.

Qualifications:

We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering.

Professional registration with the Professional Engineers Ontario.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the transportation engineering industry specifically related to preliminary and detail design.

Demonstrated ability as a project manager of multi-disciplinary project teams for MTO.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated working knowledge of MTO polices, standards, and specifications.

Experience with business development and proposal preparation is considered an asset.

Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
