We’re looking for a Project Manager who is motivated by the opportunity to leverage their skills in the municipal sector to join our rapidly growing Infrastructure Services team and act as a trusted advisor to Owners on a variety of municipal infrastructure, public works, water resources, and transportation projects. Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to municipal projects, representing Clients’ best interests and help them achieve their strategic goals
  • Be a trusted advisor to the Client, applying your deep understanding of design, construction, and operation of a variety of municipal facilities and infrastructure
  • Take ownership of project set-up, initiation, execution, monitoring and reporting, close-out, and commissioning
  • Lead and organize project teams towards a common goal and establish levels of authority and lines of communication
  • Report on project status by means of progress reports, meeting minutes, and other correspondence
  • Chair project and site meetings
  • Identify and resolve project challenges
  • Contribute to planning and growth of the infrastructure services business unit within the Pacific region
  • Apply your leadership and communication skills to bring alignment among stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Eligible for registration as a P.Eng. in British Columbia.
  • PMP designation an asset
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience planning and delivering civil and/or transportation infrastructure projects for municipalities in Canada
  • Previous leadership of infrastructure capital planning for municipal development
  • Extensive Client-facing experience in the delivery of related projects
  • Led and significantly contributed to the preparation of RFP and RFQ’s, tenders and awards
  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of construction delivery models and procurement methods
  • Practical understanding of Master Municipal Construction Documents (MMCDs)
  • The leadership skills to resolve client and project challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
