Reports to: Transportation Manager, SLG Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate all transportation needs for Sporting Life Group.
Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all transportation as required by vendors, supply chain, store operations and internal company needs.
  • Track all movements of loads to ensure delivery at final destination.
  • Coordinate customs requirements on inbound shipments from vendors as required.
  • Review and prepare all invoicing for payment, including validating rates charged and GL coding.
  • Manage information with third party freight payment provider for accuracy.
  • Prepare month end accruals for freight.
  • Log all transportation related data for analysis.
  • Support the Transportation Manager in all analysis, budgeting and RFPs.
  • Prepare claims to carriers for lost/damaged goods.
  • Communicates with Vendors ensuring product flows to company destinations as outlined in the Routing Guide.
