Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Ensure execution of all transport activities related to OTC/RTC shipments- and production forecasts for the assigned market
  • Partner with stakeholders for a cost efficient and environmentally efficient transport set up for the assigned market
  • Maintain the transport budget for assigned market
  • KPI owner; responsible for ensuring TSP's are executing the agreed KPIs
  • Assist and at times lead transportation improvements and projects
  • RFP and negotiation participant for all OMNI distribution contracts connected to the assigned markets
  • Maintain overview of transportation contracts associated to assigned market
  • Maintain carrier relations by setting a routine meeting structure and follow-up process
  • Partner with stakeholders to promote synergies and implement optimizations between retail and online flows
  • Follow up on local transport activities to support reg./global OKR's
  • Set clear and defined personal development goals for each team member
Additional Accountabilities:
  • Contributes to the creation of Transportation budget of the Region
  • Manages transportation costs and approves carrier's charges
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Transportation, Logistics, or International Business preferred
  • 2-4 years of management experience within the transportation industry
  • Experience working with different TMS and YMS platforms preferred
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to manage freight operations; as well as details of shipping operations
  • Knowledge of business processes such as profit and loss, profit margins, accounting, and other related principles
  • Negotiation and bidding experience
  • Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and in a high pressure, multi-personality, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
.Ability to establish and maintain relationships with peers, internal customers, and outside vendors
