ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Regional Operations Manager, Specialty Nursing Services, reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, Specialty Nursing Services is responsible for driving the successful operation of our Bayshore Specialty Nursing Network within their specified region. The Specialty Nursing Network encompasses our infusion clinic network, home pharma network and virtual care services. The Regional Operations Manager will provide direct oversight and support to our networks\xe2\x80\x99 Specialty Pharma Nursing Managers (SPNM) within their specified region.
The Regional Operations Manager works closely with the SPNMs and is responsible for ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety is maintained while meeting operational requirements and fiscal goals.

**PLEASE NOTE: This position requires that you live in one of the following provinces BC, AB, SK, MN**

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Responsible for the operational performance of the specified region\xe2\x80\x99s specialty pharma network (clinics and home pharma) and ensuring fiscal responsibility in the day to day operations of their region;
Supervises and provides day-to-day support to the Specialty Pharma Nurse Management (SPNM) team;
Provides operational support to the SPNMs while working closely with the National Operations Manager;
Identifies, assesses, and implements new business opportunities under the direction of the National Operations Manager and National Director;
Reviews local business need for additional clinic(s) and coordinates new clinic setups as appropriate within their specified region;
Undertakes change management activities as required;
Responsible for regular review of nursing dashboard and working with SPNM and SPNM team auditor to ensure efficiencies are met in both clinic and home pharma;
Reviews scheduling and local trends including managing issues and challenges as required;
Responsible for ensuring program KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are met with the SPNM and the clinic coordinator teams;
Works with SPNMs to ensure staffing contingency plans are put in place as required;
Leads with compassion, and provides coaching, support and implementation of performance management initiatives as required;
Responsible for executing probationary and annual performance review of direct reports;
Ensures the SPNMs are equipped with the appropriate resources and information to manage the changing needs in their regions;
Assists the SPNM team in preparation for both internal and external audits
Supports recruitment, selection, orientation, training, performance management, and performance reviews for the SPNM team as required;
Acts as liaison between Program Managers, Branch Area Directors, SPNM team and other key stakeholders, as appropriate;
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities;
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company\'s Quality Management System;
Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties;
Completes all other related tasks delegated by the National Operations Manager as requested.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related health sciences field, Bachelor of Science in Nursing an Asset
Leadership or management training or certificate
Project Management training is an asset
Preferred Bilingual (English/French)
Five years of progressive management experience
Experience in a related healthcare field such as oncology, neurology, critical care, community infusion or outpatient clinic
Previous nursing management or leadership experience
Experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry in Canada
Effective leadership and the ability to engage with diverse teams
Able to create and adjust process maps to lead process improvement and efficiency initiatives
Highly organized with above average communication skills
Empathetic leadership
Able to manage relationships with a proven track record of exceptional customer service
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult or unexpected situations
Able to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Able to support a national team of highly skilled professional managers
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio
Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
Willing and able to travel within identified region as required to provide on-site support to local SPNM team members.
Willing and able, at a minimum, to travel quarterly to our National Head Office in Mississauga or our National Pharmacy in Markham. Dependent on fiscal objectives \xe2\x80\x93 more travel may be required to Head Office/National Pharmacy.

Qualifications
