We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to join us in Coaldale, AB. This position will report directly to the Shift Manager. The Training Manager is responsible for the oversite of all aspects of Factory related employee training including, qualification processes, trainer development, budgeting, planning, coordination and record keeping. The Training Manager serves as a coach and mentor to the Training Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible to develop in-house factory specific training programs to meet Factory Training Plan requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop in-house factory specific training programs to meet Factory Training Plan requirements as well as Factory training budget and plan

Sourcing external & internal training resources to meet Factory Training Plan Requirements as well as tracking and maintaining Factory Training Plan updates

Supervisor the maintenance & on-going development and delivery of Induction Training package including delivering training as necessary

Oversee and assist with Factory OJT Operator training programs and any associated follow-up activities

Development and ongoing maintenance of Operator qualification standards and processes.

Supervise & direct Lead Trainer activities as well as coaching and developing Lead Trainers and others responsible for the delivery of training within the operation

Administrative functions of a supervisory role, such as time keeping, vacation planning, taking call-ins and finding replacements.

Oversight and support of reporting of Factory Operator qualification system as well as weekly Training hours and QCDSME Report

Supervise the maintenance of Training records and tracking systems including development and maintenance of Training related procedures

Oversee development and maintenance of Factory operational Standard Operating Procedures.

Participate in monthly GMP inspections & follow-up

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in a related field

1-3 years\' leadership experience

1-3 years\' food or beverage manufacturing experience

Knowledgeable in the areas of training needs analysis, training and course development, evaluation, adult learning principles, learning styles, and delivery techniques

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to people at all levels of the business

Strong organization, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Experience resolving conflicts of interest

Ability to prioritize work, demonstrate flexibility and work effectively under pressure with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering results
