As a member of the Yukon SPOR (Strategy for Patient Oriented Research) Unit team, the Training Capacity & Engagement Lead is responsible for the development and delivery of training in Patient-Oriented-Research to patients, clinicians, researchers, policy-makers and students across the Yukon. You will identify training needs, plan training activities, lead patient engagement activities, and coordinate initiatives designed to promote the Yukon SPOR Unit and its services to the community. You will develop relationships with community leaders and serve as YSPOR\'s liaison with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree preferably at the PhD level in a relevant field, combined with northern or remote community experience in training, teaching, facilitation, consulting or quality improvement roles. A combination of relevant post-secondary experience and work-related experience could be considered equivalent, or Indigenous knowledge keeper of equivalent level as recognized by their community.
