Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various flooring materials, including tile and other surfaces, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of construction skills in a dynamic environment. Applicants should have experience with hand tools, blueprint reading, and carpentry, with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Measure and prepare work areas according to project specifications using blueprint reading skills Install flooring materials such as tile , natural stone , schluter system Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, and securing materials Perform surface preparation tasks including leveling, caulking, and surface cleaning prior to installation Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal Perform minor carpentry tasks as needed for framing or supporting structures related to flooring installation Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction work Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry techniques Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Strong knowledge of construction practices, including surface preparation and caulking techniques Maintenance Person experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various repair and installation tasks Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely Prior experience in construction or flooring installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Work Location: In person
