TICKETING AGENT - WORK FROM HOME
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Philippines REMOTE

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring all new GDS ticket requests are processed same day or within SLA timelines.
  • Assists with all BSP and ARC debit Memo\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Along with MNL ticketing team lead, ensures entire ticketing team is fully trained on all aspects of FIT/Corp., and group ticketing requests.
  • Balancing mid/back office accounting systems (Etc.: TravCom & Ivector).
  • Ensure refunds, and re-issues are recorded for follow up, and processed as per SLA\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Ensures all internal, and 3rd party queues, e-mails are properly handled.
  • Communicate company goals and the \xe2\x80\x9cGoway Way\xe2\x80\x9d in a win/win manner.
  • Assist with any account inquiries regarding (BSP/ARC)
  • GDS issues (IR\xe2\x80\x99s) are properly handled, and reported to Goway GDS lead.
  • May be required to train staff in/out of dept.
  • Ensures all in-voluntary re-issues are handle 6 weeks prior to departure.
  • May involve handling Group ticketing requests
  • Liaise with airlines to acquires waiver and ticketing authorities
  • Assist/help ticketing agents with any questions regarding fare and contracts
  • Update staff on any air contract changes.
  • QC tickets issued by Third-party ticketing agents
  • Fare optimization on all possible tickets.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained on EMD\xe2\x80\x99s, and Group ticketing
  • Contacting airlines for contract, fare construction clarifications.
  • Assisting with new software and testing
  • Meet and exceed KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Able to recognize problems with processing flows, and adjust accordingly.
  • Ensure communication between world offices are maintained, and enhanced



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Understand how to fare construct using net, published, and private fares
  • A strong working knowledge of Amadeus and Sabre
  • Understand how to action queue\xe2\x80\x99s within GDS
  • Previous experience using a call centre phone system.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of airline routings
  • World geography
  • Strong sales and closing abilities
  • Superior customer service skills (Internal and External)
