Description :Duties and Responsibilities
\xe2\x96\xaa Operate the stamping press coil feeder and automated transfer operation
\xe2\x96\xaa Perform tooling setup and machine changeovers
\xe2\x96\xaa Packing and labelling the product
\xe2\x96\xaa Conducting preventative maintenance on press and scrap systems as scheduled
\xe2\x96\xaa Measuring parts using CMM and gauging as required
\xe2\x96\xaa Visual inspection of parts for good quality and report any non-conformances to Quality representative or
immediate Area Leader
\xe2\x96\xaa Oversee load set and transfer system to ensure smooth flow of part production and early detection of
potential issues including mishits
\xe2\x96\xaa Receiving and the storage of steel coils
\xe2\x96\xaa Prepare and communicate various reports as required or requested
\xe2\x96\xaa Report safety hazards and conduct pre-start inspections as required
\xe2\x96\xaa Promote the company\xe2\x80\x99s operational visions, values, goals and behaviours
\xe2\x96\xaa Participate in company programs including G&O, 5S, Kaizen, meetings, training, etc.
\xe2\x96\xaa Conduct all work activities in a manner that is supportive of team effort
\xe2\x96\xaa Adherence to all policies, procedures and regulations
\xe2\x96\xaa Participate in the company\xe2\x80\x99s health, safety, environmental, and operational programs
\xe2\x96\xaa Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, or his/her designateQualifications
\xe2\x96\xaa Completion of high school
\xe2\x96\xaa Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience
\xe2\x96\xaa Experience in die set up preferred
\xe2\x96\xaa Forklift License required
\xe2\x96\xaa Overhead Crane License required
\xe2\x96\xaa Experience in automotive, press stamping and/ or manufacturing environmentWorking Conditions
\xe2\x96\xaa Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping, and performing repetitive
motion tasks
\xe2\x96\xaa Excellent manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
\xe2\x96\xaa Flex shift hours may be required to support role responsibilities over 3 shift operation
\xe2\x96\xaa Office, manufacturing, outdoor environment
\xe2\x96\xaa Wear personal protective equipment as prescribed
