Zaber is looking for a collaborative Test Engineer to develop innovative test systems for the measurement of precision motion control devices, involving sensor selection and mechanical, electrical, and control system design. You will perform tests on a variety of electromechanical devices, which involves setting up and running test equipment, debugging automated test scripts, and analyzing results. You\'ll design and implement novel systems to analyze the performance of our ever-expanding line of electromechanical devices. Given the dynamic nature of the products under development, you can expect to be learning new skills and tackling unique challenges within the Testing Team. We deal with a wide range of systems, so a broad knowledge base and a drive to learn will allow you to excel. As a Test Engineer, you will:

• Perform tests on a variety of electromechanical devices
• Liaise with product stakeholders to ensure that tests are correctly designed to capture the required information
• Create test plans, perform mechanical and/or electrical set-up, analyse results, write reports, and present results to stakeholders
• Develop innovative test systems for the measurement of precision motion control devices
• Automate, improve, and refine existing test systems and procedures
• Analyze and address sources of error in test systems
• Use, develop, and improve data analysis and storage tools using Python and various web frameworks

You\'re the ideal Test Engineer if you have:

• A strong drive to learn, understand, and improve.
• A degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, computer engineering, or similar.
• Hands-on experience or aptitude. You\'ll be working with and troubleshooting mechanical devices, so be sure to tell us about any past work with mechanical systems.
• Strong programming skills. Experience with object oriented programming, signal processing, data management and/or Python is an asset.

Test Engineer Wage:

• The starting wage for the role is $31 - $47/hour depending on experience.
