Location: For this role we are open to remote work located anywhere in the United States or Canada.

About the Position

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join the team and support the building and maintenance of new features within the Dayforce HCM suite. This role will be focused on building automation to support complex software solutions in the HR space.

What you\'ll get to do

• Solid experience with test automation with experience creating and maintaining test scripts using tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow, Cucumber, FitNesse, CodedUI
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvements for the product and processes through automated tests
• Become a product expert in our platform to ensure the automated tests focus on real-world scenarios and not just what is easy
• Help manage the Automation Process. Prioritizing work, determining the automation test plan, and help with escalations
• Investigate, report, and track product failures to resolution. Investigate and identify false-positives that come up with automated testing, ensuring the test suite remains up to date
• Create automated tests that are maintainable by other members of your team
• Analyze test results and improve the areas with higher defect trends
• Participate in the creation and execution of test plans and test cases
• Collaborate with peers on solution architecture in support of automation practices
• Identify and escalate issues related to plan and quality
• Deep knowledge of internet technologies

Skills and Experience we value

• Experience working with SaaS Enterprise Software
• Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database system
• Experience with API\'s using tools such as Swagger or Postman
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) an asset. E.g. Umbraco, Orchard, Kentico, Joomla, Drupal, etc.
