What You Will Do:

• Provide sustaining support to Technician with guidance from supervising engineer
• Recommend/resolve component obsolescence issues and produce Engineering change documentation
• Under minimal supervision, update/revise test programs on automated test equipment
• Design & develop a short test program & associated interface circuit for testing an electronic circuit card.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and complete technical investigations.
• Guidance provided on new assignments, however the amount of supervision varies depending upon the assignment. Working with minimum guidance is expected.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Familiar with general lab test equipment
• Computer skills: MS Word, Excel.
• LabVIEW or similar test software development familiarity is desirable.
• Basic working knowledge on Electronic circuits
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x9cReliability\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x9d status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
• For on-site positions, our location is accessible by public transport
