GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONResponsible for providing high-level, product-specific technical information and support to internal and external customers. Advises and recommends solutions to customers while presenting additional products and services as warranted.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and adapt a working sales plan
  • Effectively access the Canadian municipal, commercial and light industrial markets through building relationships with our commercial customer base and consulting engineering firms.
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting for Franklin Water Treatment Canada product lines through e-mail and phone to the Canadian customer base.
  • Interpret water analysis and project specifications to properly design, specify, and size equipment to meet commercial applications and project requests.
  • Work in partnership with Canadian sales team to generate quotes for commercial equipment.
  • Interacts directly with Canadian client/customer base to resolve technical issues in a timely manner; using knowledge and expertise to discern appropriate solutions.
  • Follows up with customers to verify that solutions are successful.
  • Uses judgment to determine the proper resources to fix issues.
  • Tracks open customer issues and communicates the status to customers.
  • Possess and further develop a deep ongoing understanding of water treatment applications.
  • Develops tools, training, and methodologies to support team and business growth.
  • Presents technical seminars in person and online to specific customers.
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

  • Uses noncomplex and complex machines and equipment.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum five years of related water treatment experience (required).
