We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient
Technical Sales Engineer
to join our dynamic team. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive the adoption of our innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical system integration, technical sales, enabling them to effectively demonstrate products and support pre-sales activities. Duties
Assist customers in pump system design and selection.
Prepare, review, and modify engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Process orders and assist in the sales cycle
Apply engineering standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
Project Sales Planning & Execution.
Assist in planning, designing, pumping and mechanical systems for various Engineering firms.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Problem Solve & Analysis
Prepare detailed quotations. Assemble engineering/shop drawings for approvals by Specifying Engineer
Use applied mathematics and scientific principles to troubleshoot and optimize systems.
Perform site inspections, system start ups, system commissioning and customer training.
Read and interpret Mechanical Drawings and do system take-offs
Prepare engineering reports, proposals, and technical drawings.
Maintain accurate records of project activities and provide recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
Proven experience in
sales engineering
,
technical sales
, or related industries
Experienced in Engineering Technology or applied science (Preference given to those with C.E.T designation)
Strong understanding of
Microsoft Office and various pump selection software products
,
Excellent
analysis skills
to evaluate client requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
Familiarity with various single and three phase electrical systems and controls
Demonstrated ability to conduct engaging
product demos
and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach; ability to work collaboratively across teams. Previous experience in pumping or mechanical systems an asset
