Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Client Engagement & Relationship Building



Backing up the sales team on technical inquiries (support)

Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to understand their operations and electrical needs.

Sales & Technical Solutions



Present and explain Boundary Electric's products and services, including transformers, switchgear, custom electrical assemblies, and power distribution equipment.

Analyze customer requirements to determine the best technical solutions and product configurations.

Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and technical presentations.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility, pricing accuracy, and alignment with client expectations.

Project Coordination



Assist in project planning, timelines, and delivery coordination.

Maintain visibility and communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction.

Market & Product Expertise



Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, electrical codes, and safety standards.

Contribute feedback to product development teams regarding customer requirements and market gaps.

Represent Boundary Electric at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

1-3+ years of technical sales, engineering, or electrical industry experience preferred.

Strong understanding of electrical power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and industrial electrical systems. (Required)

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics, RQ Documents

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think both technically and strategically.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience in manufacturing, power distribution, or industrial electrical equipment.

Previous experience working with utilities, EPC firms, or large industrial clients.

Competency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
