Job Opportunity:
Kern Industries Calgary is looking for a Technical Sales Associate to join our dedicated team. This role will be key in building strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention through exceptional sales and service with the Plumbing & Heating industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships within the Engineering Community to promote and support the sale of plumbing & Hydronic products from a technical standpoint
Ability to build and maintain relationships with Plumbing Wholesalers, Plumbers & Mechanical Contractors for the promotion and sale of plumbing products
Provide support and training to various industry partners and assist in resolving specific concerns related to selling efforts or technical issues
Collaborate with Management to develop account plans and provide feedback on market trends, sales, training and promotional needs to meet sales objectives
Assist and attend company sales events, trade, and industry shows
Skills and Knowledge
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain a strong client base
Capable to work in a team-based environment
Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking
Self-directed and results-oriented with a track record of improving results
Proficiency in computer systems including MS Office and Teams
Education & Experience
Plumbing, Hydronic Design or experience within industry
Demonstrated sales and cold-calling experience, ideally within the industry
