GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for an experienced Technical Project Manager.





As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for owning and managing projects through the complete project life cycle. You'll be involved in resource planning, budgeting, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. With your strong technical background, you'll lead a small multi-disciplinary team to meet project a projects objective on time and within budget.

Responsibilities




Project Planning and Scheduling:

Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Budget Management:

Preparing and managing project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met.

Team Leadership:

Leading and motivating a team of engineers and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Risk Management:

Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.

Quality Assurance:

Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Stakeholder Communication:

Communicating with stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members, to provide updates and address any issues.

Technical Oversight:

Providing technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring engineering solutions are feasible and effective.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensuring that all project activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.

Performance Monitoring:

Tracking project progress, performance, and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track. Mentorship and guidance to mature the technical team's knowledge and skill.



Qualifications




Post-secondary education in Engineering, Engineering Technology and/or related career experience. Minimum three (3) years project management experience. Proven experience managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Experience managing large and complex projects in a similar industry. Professional Engineering designation, an asset. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. Valid Canadian passport required.



Security Requirements
