Cybeats is looking for an experienced and detail oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for the coordination of key projects from inception to execution, working with various stakeholders to ensure project success and deadlines are met. With our constant growth, this position is critical for our future success.This is a hybrid role with office location in Etobicoke, we are seeking candidates who are comfortable with being up to 3 days a week onsite.The ideal candidate will have solid experience working in a project management capacity within a technical environment in a fast-paced startup setting, preferably in cyber security. • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to required projects
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all involved are actively working toward established milestones
• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
• Suggestion project improvement plans

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a related field
• Project Management certification from an accredited institution is preferred

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a software environment project management or a related field.
• Excellent leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Excellent computer literacy skills and utilizing systems to manage projects
• Ability to problem-solve under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Can-do attitude
