Customer Service Representative

Are you passionate about Customer Service and a self-motivated customer service professional. Our valued Edmonton client is looking for a CSR that is willing to learn their technical product line and its applications to provide their customers the best solutions. This position will be reporting to the General Manager of Canadian Operations.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Answer phones and provide feedback on stocking levels, order status, order tracking, and order entry
• Provide alternative products/solutions for out-of-stock items or long lead-time items
• Pay attention to detail; keeping errors below 1% and dropped phone calls below 1%
• 24-hour turnaround time on customer PO's and entry into ERP system, including answering customer voice mails and emails within in 24 hrs.
• Proactively contact customers and provide status of orders
• Provide technical assistance to customers and team members
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities

Your strengths include:

• 2-3+ years of experience in a technical Customer Service environment
• Strong computer skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office and an ERP system
• Must have technical experience, preferably in auto/truck parts & service or similar products
• Ability to use problem solving skills to identify and resolve customer related issues
• Self-starter; able to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good computer and MS Office skills
• Ability to understand and eventually teach technical concepts in an understandable way
• Strong willingness to assist other team members with customer-related issues
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Advanced organizational and conflict resolution skills
• Customer focused
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
