Paradox Access Solutions is seeking an Technical Copywriter to join our in-house Marketing Team in Acheson, Alberta! Paradox Access Solutions is a family-owned company and industry leader in innovative access solutions in Western Canada. Since 2004, Paradox has been providing industrial access matting solutions and ground reinforcement for the pipeline, utility, municipal, general construction, and energy sectors. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do at Paradox: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Technical Copywriter works collaboratively with internal teams to create marketing, sales, and training content. This role will require someone who can take complex information about large scale construction projects (including gathering details from our engineering teams) and distill it into compelling case studies, sales materials, web content and for use in other applications. You have a passion for writing and possess strong written communication skills within tight deadlines and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Work collaboratively across multiple teams to create compelling case studies that tell a story and provide technical information about past projects.
• Help review and revise website content on a regular basis to ensure a consistent tone and accuracy.
• Research technical concepts and topics to ensure accuracy of content.
• Determine Key messages and branding for external communications
• Work with other members of the marketing team to generate content for sponsored posts, blogs and social media.
• Work collaboratively with Paradox\xe2\x80\x99s internal videographer to create scripts turning written case studies into videos.
• Work with internal departments and stakeholders to develop and revise related training content.
• Ad hoc requests related to content.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring to Paradox: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Post-secondary degree in communications, professional/technical writing, or a related field
• 2-5+ years proven work experience in a copywriting or content writing role.
• Experience writing technical content.
• Experience writing marketing content \xe2\x80\x94 preferably in a B2B environment.
• Some experience with writing for video would be an asset.
• Understanding of the Construction and Oil & Gas industries would be an asset
• High level of proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Exceptional command of the English language, grammar and writing styles
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with executive and various corporate and field personnel.
• Superior time management skills and multitasking skills with a strong sense of urgency
• Superior attention to detail

• Takes initiative \xe2\x80\x94create plans to gather content and ideas to complete, this will include booking meetings with team members for interviews and fact finding.
