Copywriter / Audio producer

The Beat 92.5

Part-time - Montreal

MontrealaEUR(TM)s The Beat 92.5 has an exciting opportunity for a, Part-time Copywriter / Audio producer.

This candidate would work Wednesday to Friday, 18 hours a week plus additional hours occasionally as needed for vacation and or sick leave replacement. Reporting to the Program Director of The Beat 92.5, the chosen candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Copywriter:

Prepares and creates commercials according to the specifications of the sales representatives and the clients.

Creates promotional text for the station, translates already prepared text, and ensures that all material was received from the client, different advertising agencies or sales representatives.

Responsible for the coding of the commercials and ensures that they are recorded into the traffic system.

Contacts or meets the client in order to obtain all necessary information (i.e. type of commercial, musical bed selection etcaEUR).

Helps preparing the demo, ensures approval of the final product by the client, makes any required corrections and makes certain that the length is respected and that the commercial is of the quality expected.

Audio Producer :

Records, edits and produces all audio commercials for the radio station.

Prepares the commercial and music logs for final broadcast on air

Produces any audio clips are required by the Program Director.

Inputs audio received from imaging producer into broadcasting system

Technical production of remote broadcasts

Record/Produce voice tracked shows in collaboration with the announcer/host

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 1 - 2 years relevant experience

Creative writing ability; the ability to sell our clients products and services using the strengths of radio.

Candidates must be detail oriented with organisational skills.

A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach.

Familiarity with outboard and technical processing equipment.

Broadcast and communication skills.

Resourceful and able to displays sound judgement.

Sense of initiative; ability to see things through from start to finish.

Bilingual (English and French).

SALARY:

As per current Collective Agreement: 24.78$ - 26.23$



Redacteur / Producteur audio

Temps partiel - Montreal

La station de radio The Beat 92.5 cherche un nouveau membre dans son equipe pour un poste a temps partiel de redacteur / producteur audio.

Ce candidat travaillera du mercredi au vendredi, 18 heures par semaine plus des heures variables au besoin pour des remplacements occasionnels. Relevant du directeur de programme de The Beat 92.5, le candidat choisi sera responsable des taches suivantes :

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITa?S:

Producteur audio

Enregistre, edite et produit des publicites audio pour la station de radio.

Prepare les journaux commerciaux et musicaux pour la diffusion finale a l'antenne

Produit des clips audio requis par le directeur du programme.

Entrees audio reaues du producteur d'images dans le systame de diffusion

Production technique des emissions a distance

Enregistre/Produt des emissions avec suivi vocal en collaboration avec l'animateur

Redacteur

Prepare et cree des publicites selon les specifications des representants commerciaux et des clients.

Redige des textes promotionnels pour la station, assure la traduction de texte deja prepare et assure que tout le materiel a ete reau du client, des differentes agences de publicite ou des representants commerciaux.

Responsable du codage des messages publicitaires et s'assure qu'ils sont enregistres dans le systame de trafic.

Contacte ou rencontre le client afin d'obtenir toutes les informations necessaires (i.e. type de commercial, choix musical etcaEUR).

Participe a la preparation du demo, assure l'approbation du produit final par le client, apporte les corrections necessaires et s'assure que la longueur est respectee et que le message publicitaire est de la qualite attendue.

COMPa?TENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES

Minimum de 1 a 2 ans d'experience pertinente

Capacite d'ecriture creative; capacite de vendre des produits et services a nos clients en utilisant les atouts de la radio.

Souci du detail, attitude positive et excellent service a la clientale.

Competences en diffusion et en communication.

Ingenieux et capable de faire preuve d'un bon jugement.

Sens de l'initiative

Bilingue (anglais et franaais).
