We\'re looking for a Team Lead, Billing to join our Billing Support team in Canada. You will act as the glue for the Billing team. You\'ll be able to put a sharp eye to the test by ensuring great customer experience, supporting the local North American Sales team to surface essential information, and ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) related to billing inquiries are consistently met.

What you\'ll be responsible for:

  • Support and coordinate all primary activities within the Billing Support team
  • Provide insight and support to members of the Sales and Support departments
  • Ensure the team has adequate training and support to complete their duties. Take ownership of any supporting documentation.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalations related to billing and subscription inquiries both internally and externally (including outside normal hours for critical queries)
  • Ensure that billing meet financial and legal requirements based on executed policies and communicate changes as required
  • Review reports to monitor and boost team efficiency and streamline daily operations
  • Assist in ongoing development, communication, monitoring, and delivery of service level agreement (SLA)-based metrics through quality assurance and feedback
  • Consolidate feedback related to system inefficiencies and prioritize accordingly with the appropriate teams
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

  • A minimum of 1 year of informal or formal leadership experience
  • A proven track record of success using performance-based metrics
  • Stellar time management and organization skills
  • Perfect written and spoken English
  • Fluency in French
  • Remarkable communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple mandates under tight deadlines
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Recognized knack for problem-solving
  • Very comfortable in technical environments
