The Team Clerk will have an exciting opportunity to support seniors and vulnerable members of their community through the Meals on Wheels program. This position supports the delivery of over 70,000 meals per year! This is a 1 year contract position to cover maternity leave. HCSS is an equal opportunity employer. Salary: $22.15 - 24.90
Expected hours: 35 hours per week

Job Duties
Respond to all calls and walk in traffic in a professional and friendly manner;
Acts as receptionist;
Attends team meetings;
Collects, inputs data into the client/volunteer data into various databases;
Coordinates delivery of hot & frozen meals with volunteers;
Ensures all frozen meal orders are received and processed;
Receives all voice mail and communicates changes with meal providers staff and volunteers;
Ensures information is kept up to date in client database;
Monitors supplies and orders when needed;
Maintain subsidy list and applies to client accounts;
Submits mileage reimbursement for volunteers;
Generates and balances billing information;
Monitors suspended clients;
Requirements
Post-secondary diploma in Business and/or Computer applications.
Proficient in word processing data management and accounting software.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
Three to five years' experience working within a busy office setting.
Previous experience working with seniors and /or volunteers is an asset.
Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
