Position Overview

Jonathan's Kingsway Pharmacy is seeking a

Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT.)

to join our growing team on a

1-year contract

(with the possibility of extension).

This role will focus primarily on

checking blister packs

and

verifying prescriptions in vials

, in strict compliance with the standards set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists. The successful candidate will report directly to the pharmacist and work collaboratively in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Contract length

: 1 year (potential for extension)

Start date

: Flexible - September to October 2025

Schedule

: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and attendance at community events as required

Wage

: Up to $40/hour, based on experience and fit. Compensation will reflect your level of expertise, ability to work independently, and alignment with our commitment to excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct final checks on blister packs and prescription vials in compliance with OCP standards Support the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of the pharmacy Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies Collaborate with pharmacy staff to deliver excellent patient care

Requirements

Active Part A

Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT.) license

in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a busy environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Previous experience with blister pack preparation/checking is an asset
