We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food preparation and cooking expertise, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, managing food safety standards, and ensuring high-quality food service that delights our guests. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork Manage food handling procedures to comply with safety regulations and hygiene standards Oversee food presentation, ensuring visually appealing dishes that meet customer expectations Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation practices throughout the kitchen Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus, specials, and new culinary concepts Provide training and mentorship to kitchen staff to promote skill development and adherence to standards Serve as a leader during busy service hours, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service

Requirements



Proven experience in restaurant management or as a head chef with supervising responsibilities Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Excellent communication skills in serving customers and coordinating with staff Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is essential A passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
