Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain inventory of food supplies, ensuring freshness and proper storage. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in the kitchen. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting for kitchen operations. Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Experience

Proven experience as a Tandoori Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service management. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety regulations, and best practices in hospitality. Restaurant experience with an understanding of kitchen operations is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
