We are known for bold flavors, a lively ambiance, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are currently looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our kitchen team.
Role Overview
As a Tandoor Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of tandoori dishes including breads, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian items. You must be familiar with the handling and maintenance of a traditional tandoor oven and passionate about creating delicious, consistent dishes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook all tandoori items including naan, roti, kebabs, paneer, and meat dishes
Ensure proper marination and flavoring of all items according to recipes
Manage cooking times and temperature of the tandoor to ensure quality and consistency
Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely food preparation during service
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the tandoor station
Monitor stock of ingredients and communicate inventory needs
Assist with menu development and special item preparation when required
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Tandoor Chef in a commercial kitchen
In-depth knowledge of Indian tandoori cooking methods and ingredients
Ability to cook both vegetarian and non-vegetarian tandoori items
Familiarity with food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
Strong time management and teamwork skills
Physically fit to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
