Job Description


Our GFL team continues to grow, and we are looking for a Talent Administrator to join our team based out of our corporate head office in Vaughan! In this role you will support our Field and Corporate Recruitment teams, in scaling business operations throughout Canada, while also supporting on various HR and Talent projects on occasion. The primary function of the Talent Administrator will be to support with general administrative tasks which includes invoicing, note taking, HR compliance and onboarding support. Key Responsibilities:
Work with Talent Leadership Team to ensure support across the talent model
Work closely with 3rd party vendors to ensure timely payment of invoices, as well as general administrative vendor support to talent team
Provide support and ensure prompt and accurate handling of management and 3rd party vendor inquiries via telephone, e-mail and MS Teams
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and laws, including audit compliance when storing or creating documentation
Populate and keep HRIS (Workday) up to date while ensuring confidentiality of information; supporting audit through documentation extraction
Maintain and complete expense reporting and documentation
Explore opportunities for automation of administrative tasks within talent
Produce data and metrics from HR database for reporting purposes when required
Ad hoc administrative tasks as required by talent leadership

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
0-2 years of experience in Human Resources, with previous experience as an Intern/Co-op, Administrator or Coordinator preferred
Bachelor?s Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources preferred
Positive attitude with a track-record of working with a collaborative and approachable style
General knowledge of current provincial employment laws, and other relevant legislation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills
Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Workday preferred)
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Offer ideas and solutions to the team regarding all areas of responsibility
